How to arrive:
By car:
From Barcelona take the highway to Martorell.
Take the exit to St. Vicens dels Horts. At the roundabout take
direction to Torrelles. When you get to Torrelles you will see a
roundabout that splits the road in two, take the left one. From
here thre are signs: "Can Mas".
By bus:
If you get out at Collblanc underground station you will see a
bus stop. Take number 62 towards Torrelles and you will get to the
village.
Teachers:
Ansgar Stein.
German artist with more than ten years playing didgeridoo, he is
one of the most well known didg players in Germany. He has one of
the widest range of rhythms and is a great source of inspiration
and creativity to the didgeridoo community. (He also has a great
sense of humor)
Lies Beijerinck.
She has been playing since 1993. She lived
in Australia for a year, living together with an aboriginal family
for a week. She has played with many bands, at festivals,....Ha
tocado con numerosos grupos and at meny festivals. She learnt to
play with great stars as:Alan Dargin, Mark Atkins, David Blanasi,
Gary Thomas, Charlie McMahon, Michael Edwards, Micheal Jackson and
Janawirri Jirparka.She is one of the
most known didgeridoo player from Holland.
Matthias Müller.
He has been playing didgeridoo for more than ten years. Winner
of the prize to Revelation Artist at Switzerland´s Festival.
He is a didgeridoo star who has been playing at the best International
didgeridoo Festivals.
Michael Jackson.
From Asutralia, member of the band known as Axis.
Without doubt he is the big star of the festival. All that had heard
Axis´CD know what i´m talking about: impeccable control
over everything.
Subject matter:
Each teacher will introduce us into their own way of understanding
didgeridoo.
As an orientation:
Breathing exercises, different ways of breathing, rhythms, composition,
toning up exercises, zups, shouts, posture.
What to bring:
- Sleeping bag.
- Torch.
- Pen and notebook.
- Didgeridoo.
Program:
July 27th: Arrival to Can Mas at 10 o´clock in the morning.
There will be breaks at midday. And, according to the weather,
there will be classes outdoors.
Is not just a didgeridoo workshop, it´s also about coexistence
and leisure.
The retreat will finish july 31st at 8 pm.
Probably, once the workshop is over, some of us will head to Arbúcies
Tribales Festival. We´ll try to get organized to be able to
travel all together and give a lift to those don´t have a
car
Price:
The workshop all together with acommodation, breakfast, lunch and
dinner, is 450 €.
150€ for booking and 300€ once at Can Mas.
DISCOUNT IF YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE:
Soon i will have to pay a deposit to the persons that run the farm
where the workshop will take place, to reward to those persons that
book in advance, there will be a 50€ discount if you pay the
150€ into tha bank before May the 12th, or 20€ discount
if you do it before July 15th.
That way if you book your place before May 12th you will pay
400€ instead of the 450€.
(150€ to book and 250€ once at the house)
The same for those persons that book their place before July
15th will only pay 430€.
(150€ to book and 280€ once at the house)
