Aboriginal

The Australian aboriginees play the didgeridoo(yirdaki) since thousands of years ago. They are one of the oldest and richest cultures in the world.

About the didgeridoo or yidarki there are many histories and legends talking about where it comes from or his propiertis. The aboriginees use to play the yirdaki in rituals, ceremonies and parties like korroborees...

There are many many tribes and lenguages in Australia, and of course there are many different names for the didgeridoo.

Here you have some of them:

didjeridoo, djalupu, a:ra:wi, djalupun, djubinj, ganbag, yiraki, yiraga, ihambilbilg, maluk...

Now the aborigenees are having hard times tryng to adapt their old culture to the new Australian culture.
